Low-Sodium Low-Fat Meatloaf

Ingredients
  

  • Meatloaf
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup onion chopped fine
  • cup celery chopped fine
  • cup carrot chopped fine
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons Mrs Dash seasoning mix
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Sauce
  • 8 ounces no salt tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Saute onion, celery, carrot and garlic in the olive oil just till tender, let them cool a bit.
  • In a large bowl mix all the meatloaf ingredients together using your hands.
  • Shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  • Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and pour over the meatloaf ingredients.
  • Bake for 1 hour.
