Honey Garlic Chicken Breast

A quick and flavorful sauce to pour over your chicken with very few ingredients

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast
  • Kosher salt and black pepper
  • ¼ cup flour
  • tablespoon butter keep 1 tablespoon for when you add the garlic
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ¼ cup honey

Instructions
 

  • For large chicken breast slice them in half horizontally. Season both sides with salt and pepper on all 4 pieces.
  • Place flour in a shallow dish, coat chicken on both sides and shake off the excess.
  • In a large sauté pan melt the butter, or use olive oil over medium high heat. Add the floured chicken, cook on one side for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Turn and cook the other side for another 1 -2 minutes.
  • Turn the heat down to medium low and add the last tab of butter and the minced garlic. stir and cook for a minute. Add the vinegar, soy sauce and honey. stirring to bring the sauce together and cover the chicken. Simmer for a minutes or until the sauce slightly thickens. Turn the chicken over to coat with the sauce.
  • Remove chicken and plate taking the sauce and pouring it over each piece. Serve warm.
