Labne Dip

Getting ready for up to 2 feet of snow and the Patriot’s Bronco’s game. I did have to run out a few minutes ago, I swear no how many times I run to the store I forget something, or more like Oh I want to make this and that and I run out of one key ingredients. This morning was carrots. When I went shopping yesterday I had plenty in the fridge. Then I made roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots for everyone last night. There were 9 adults and a almost 3 year old.

Today with all the food for the same 9 adults and almost 3 year, you would think it was the super bowl, not just am AFC Championship game. I am making Mac n’ Cheese, Cheeseburger Soup, Wings and I might make a taco dip. However I did make this lovely simple dip that I think you should try. This was not on the menu but when I was at the store yesterday I saw Labne and immediately thought oohhh I want to make, or try to mimic a dip I had out at one of our Italian places we like to go to. They have a great bar area and my husband loves their espresso martini’s.  He tends to only order them when they have an actual espresso machine.

Anyway this dip reminds me of the one they have or maybe had on their menu, it has been a minute since we have been there. We’ll have to make a point of going there sometime soon.
